Noah J. Carmichael, P.E., Principal
Noah Carmichael joined Fehr Graham in 2004 as an Engineer and by 2012 had assumed the role of manager of the Rochelle, Illinois branch. In 2014, Noah joined the leadership team as a principal. Over the course of his career, he has developed an extensive transportation and municipal engineering background through involvement in a wide variety of projects. While at Fehr Graham, Carmichael has led numerous high profile transportation oriented projects that have included complex railroad and roadway design for both municipal and private clients. Carmichaelís experience also includes working closely with municipal and governmental clients on public utility and development related projects, including securing federal, state, and local permits, as well as identifying potential grant funding opportunities. Carmichael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) and National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). Carmichael is also active in the Greater Rochelle Economic Development Corporation, Rochelle Rotary and numerous not-for-profit organizations in the Rochelle area.
