Taking engineering to new heights

Water tower climb - Winnebago, Illinois

Fehr Graham Engineer, Seth Gronewold, wore a GoPro while he climbed the Winnebago, Illinois, water tower with Chad Insko, village public works director. The water tower has a 200,000 gallon capacity for village drinking water.

The pair completed a one-year inspection on the exterior coating painted on the tower last year. Results confirm the structure’s paint thickness remains adequate to resist the possibility of rusting, and the new tower equipment is in operational order. (Can't see the video below? Click here.)
