Freeport High School grad shares
internship experience with The Journal-Standard

The Journal-Standard interviews Fehr Graham intern

Evan Arachikavitz wrapped up his internship in Fehr Graham's Freeport office with an interview with The Journal-Standard. Arachikavitz is one of many Fehr Graham interns in the spotlight this month.

The 2013 Freeport High School graduate is pursuing a degree in occupational safety at Illinois State University, where he is a senior this fall. Arachikavitz spent the bulk of his internship with Fehr Graham client Honeywell, working with safety professionals. He did many things, including ventilation testing and data analysis, in-house safety auditing and UV radiation testing.

Before attending Illinois State, Arachikavitz was studying chemical engineering at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. He is considering getting a second bachelor's degree in engineering or getting his master's in industrial hygiene.

Rockford native Drake Szyp was interviewed by 13 WREX. Cameran Coy of 23 WIFR spent some time with interns Charity Voskuil of Pecatonica and Ellie Macklin of Rochelle. Watch both videos and read the story. Voskuil was also interviewed by the Rochelle News-Leader.
