Fehr Graham Off to the Races

Fehr Graham recently hosted the inaugural Fehr Graham Government Challenge Kart Race at Sugar River Raceway in Brodhead, Wisconsin.  Eleven drivers representing five municipalities competed for the coveted title.

The karts were not your typical Wisconsin Dells karts, but rather high-powered machines capable of 50+ mph on the straightaways. Each competitor participated in three races and were timed on each lap in order to track progress. The winner was Scott Raisbeck from the Village of Warren. Scott placed first in the feature event and the overall day’s points championship.  He posted an event-best, 43-second lap time over the .4281 mile course, with an average speed of 35.841 mph. Second place for the event went to Village of Rockton Trustee Pat Hoey and third place to Sawyer Kurth from the City of Rockford.

The races were followed with good conversation, camaraderie, and great food. Plans are being made for another event next year. Stay tuned and let your contact at Fehr Graham know if you are interested in participating in next year’s event.
